In 1972, a group of young architects and designers from Barcelona started BD. Our aim was to produce and market furniture and objects for our own projects, with complete creative freedom and design criteria—both in shape and in function—that was different from the sector norm.

Architecture is in our blood, and we still approach design with the mentality of an architect. Whether it be for an interior and exterior, we carefully consider the needs of each and every project.

The most sustainable design is one that lasts through time, or has an emotional value which can be inherited by new objects. In projects such as REmix, we reuse leftovers generated during the production processes, thereby giving them a new life, and encourage other manufacturers to do the same.

We produce in Barcelona to furnish unique spaces around the world, both for the home and for offices, hotels, restaurants, and public places. We are present in over 60 countries, at the best design shops and art galleries, working alongside the most avant-garde interior design and architecture studios.
