FLOS table lamp MISS K

Flos Miss K designed by Philippe Starck is table lamp with diffuse light. With Flos Miss K Starck wants to give a women trick imprint in an incredibly modern style.

The body of the Flos Miss K lamp is made of PMMA (polimetilmetacrilato) completely transparent and injection molded. Its lanky form transmits that sense of softness conferred to the lamp but it leans on a stable foot that inspires a sought-after solidity. The opalin inside diffuser in PC (polycarbonate) injection molded allows to support in fixed way the external diffuser which give that effect of diffused light.

The external lampshade of the Flos Miss K lamp in transparent or coloured polycarbonate injection molded - on the whole surface - and under vacuum-seal aluminised in the internal part. Indeed the external diffuser that represents the superior part of the lamp is characterized by this very soft horizontal relief.

The outside of the Flos Miss K lamp is smooth to the touch and the internal ruled part confers to the lamp its singleness, allowing this way to create an environment really soft. Finally, the perforated superior part permits to the light to come out with more intensity and offer therefore more brightness in comparison to a classical table lamp.
