FLOS suspesion lamp PARENTESI D with dimmer

Parentesi D Flos with dimmer is a suspension lamp conceived by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzù. With an industrial design, Castiglioni and Manzù conceive Parentesi Flos to the purpose to give a sense of essentiality with his few component. With a minimalist style, the idea was born from a sketch of Manzù but it arrives in the hands of Achille Castiglioni, who revisits it changing some details, giving so life to Parentesi D Flos.

To the centre of the lamp, is found a shaped metal bar with a function of support. Moreover, it is actually this central bar which gave to the lamp it's name. The steel cable has put in tension thanks to the counterweight situated on the floor.
The height of the central bar of Parentesi D Flos is therefore adjustable thanks to a simple gesture making it flowing along the tense cable.

The use of the door lamp and the light bulb at sight confirm once again the wish to create an element that finds its oneness indeed in its naturalness. The version Parentesi D Flos has a dimmer that allows to regulate the bright intensity in base to your own demands giving the proper light for every occasion.

The various available colours will allow to combine to the best the lamp Parentesi D Flos with the furnish already present in the house, adjusting at the best in modern or more classical houses.
From 1971, the Parentesi D Flos lamp acquired a world fame, becoming permanent piece of the Triennial Design Museum in Milan and having the prestige to appear in specific shows for the industrial design as to in some of MoMa's shows.
