Overlap Flos is a suspension lamp formed by two rings intersected at right angles.
It is almost impossible to conceive the space that exists around two perpendicular flat surfaces.
When I first saw the coating technique in Cocoon, used by Flos to create many historical objects, I realized that it was the perfect opportunity to define this space. In this object it is fascinating to see the two rings push on the membranes. And yet, what remains hidden and undefined is the space in which they intersect, which leaves the task of completing its geometry to the imagination. Michael Anastassiades
