FLOS table lamp TACCIA LED

Taccia Flos created by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni is an exclusive table lamp. Planning Taccia Flos the Castiglioni not realize only a table lamp, but a true icon of the design. Taccia Flos is in fact the symbol of the industrial design, that characterizes the Castiglioni's style. For Flos, they imagine in 59 this lamp similar to a great projector; the lamp will be produced by Flos in 1962. Its oneness resides in the unrepeatable combination of its anodized aluminum and of the bell shaped diffuser realized in blown transparent glass.
Thanks to the use of poles apart materials, Taccia Flos assumes an unique personality that distinguishes it. Its round form inspires liking but the imposing base suggests us stability and resistance.
Thought as table lamp but perfect also simply laying it on the floor, this lamp is the sign of the ultramodern thought that the Castiglioni brothers made more than half century ago.
The hollow shaped white aluminum painted disk positioned on top of the lamp, besides the aesthetical purpose, also acts like a reflector to the light that emanate in reality from the inside of the base, where the light bulb is partly glossed over.
The whole lamp holds on a metallic support, polished and nickel-plate steel.
