Costanzina of Luceplan has been updated. The classic shaded lamp that can be seen in signature interiors and everyday living rooms is the first major success for Luceplan designed by Paolo Rizzatto.
The new chromatic approach takes the form of two shade collections, Mezzo Tono and Radieuse, each with five colour variations to bring out the qualities of the matte surfaces.
Matching the versatility of the original design, the new shades have been conceived for all the Costanza and Costanzina models (table, floor, wall, ceiling, suspension) and are joined by a new Off White finish for the structures.
The new chromatic approach of Costanzina has been generated by a combination of aesthetic and technological research, concentrating on the fine tuning of perceptions, but also on industrial innovation. In the end, this reflects the intriguing paradox of Costanzina: a lamp that looks fragile though it is very solid, that seems normal even though it is extraordinary, and changes when it already seemed to be perfect.
The Mezzo Tono collection offers a range of pastel shades that are inspired by the paintings of Morandi, misty landscapes, and soft skins. Light tones that stand out for their subtlety, conveying a warm sense of welcome: Comfort Green, Edgy Pink, Mistic White, Soft Skin, Shaded Stone.
The Radieuse collection is made of decisive and dynamic colors with the same tones seen in the architecture and paintings of the modern masters. The original hues have been adjusted with slight tonal variations, making them more versatile and vibrant: Primary Red, Liquorice Black, Petroleum Blue, Smart Yellow, Concrete Grey.
