Description

Twiggy Foscarini is 15 years old and it gives itself a combination between two opposed materials like the one composite and the one natural, resulting in a surprisingly elegant result. To its material of birth the development of a restored essence is added and it represents the best synthesis of wooden essences in nature, so as to dialogue with any furniture element more and more. The second, more substantial news regards the complete re-design of all the illuminating "engine": the result is a diffused warm light spot, of better quality and with level of effectively controlled intensity of a new foot control designed in respect of tradition of Italian design of the great masters. Tradition and innovation are mixed together perfectly in the new Twiggy Wood.

The floor lamp with direct and indirect light. The diffuser is drawn from the overlapping of two bleached maple wooden sheets. To guarantee the circumference, the diffuser, both in the upper and lower parts, has been equipped with a bamboo ring, of some millimetres of thickness. The stem is of composite material on fibre base of liquid painted glass. Power coated metal circular base. It is equipped with 4 counterweights to be placed in the proper place on the diffuser to set its height. On demand additional arc extension stems. On the cable there is a dimmer that works as a regulator of gradual light intensity and on/off switch.
