Kartell is constantly renewing the iconic Componibili, created by Anna Castelli Ferreri in 1968. Italian designer Fabio Novembre offers a "2.0" version of this great classic. Fun and trendy, this new edition is inspired by emojis. These little pictograms that have taken over the web are now a real language! The legendary round modules spring to life: the holes that are usually handles turn into eyes and a mouth. A wink, a laugh and a smile shake up this collection in a very dynamic red colour. Its fun style stimulates the imagination and provokes immediate sympathy. Charismatic, Componibili Smile brings its good vibe everywhere in the house: a living room, kitchen, office, entrance or child’s bedroom. In 1968, designer Anna Castelli Ferreri, wife of the Kartell founder, created the famous Componibili. This moulded plastic cylinder with its understated and functional lines is a symbol of the revolution in design that occurred in the 1960's. Pop, democratic, accessible, daring, practical, modular: this little module fully meets the needs of the new society that was emerging. The Componibili was soon a success thanks to its extreme functionality. Compact and versatile, Componibili easily fit into all rooms in the house, on the floor or placed on another piece of furniture. It fulfils several needs: bedside table in the bedroom, end table in the living room, small storage module in the bathroom or kitchen, stool if necessary. The 'Smile' version can be used outdoors. Its cheeky kid expression makes it extremely adapted to a child's bedroom. The Componibili has been produced for over half a century and has become a real design classic. It has won many prizes and has been exhibited at Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.Dimensions: ø 32 x H 40 cm
